Rainbow Dynamics Deep2 RackBot™

The Rainbow Dynamics Deep2 RackBot™ brings the goods-to-person capabilities of the RackBot platform to a double-deep storage configuration. Instead of storing a single tote at each rack position, Deep2 stores totes two positions deep, increasing storage density without requiring a larger building footprint.

Deep2 shares the same hardware and software platform as the Single-Deep RackBot, with the primary difference being the storage layout. Rainbow Dynamics pairs the Deep2 configuration with its GroundBot AMR for horizontal transport, creating an automated solution designed to combine dense storage with movement of inventory throughout the fulfillment operation.

Despite its higher-density configuration, Deep2 maintains the core performance specifications of the RackBot platform, including up to 150 totes per hour per robot, a 3-second tote fetch time, an 8.5-meter maximum height, and a 30 kg payload capacity. Rainbow Dynamics specifically positions Deep2 for operations seeking to maximize storage density without expanding their existing building footprint.
